Following the success of the original homes at St George’s in Thornham, the next phase of this distinctive development is almost complete – two more plots that continue the commitment to traditional Norfolk architecture, timeless materials and modern luxury.

Nestled within the same peaceful corner of the North Norfolk coast, these two plots have been designed with the same sensitivity and individual character as the first phase. Now approaching completion, the homes carry forward the ethos that made the original scheme so special: generous proportions, carefully considered detailing and a deep respect for local vernacular.

Like the others, these homes take cues from the flint walls, red brick, pitched roofs and traditional detailing found throughout the surrounding villages. The design team ensured that the new homes feel both distinct and familiar – echoing the traditional scale, forms and rhythms that define Norfolk’s architectural heritage.

Landscaping remains a key component of the project, again developed in collaboration with renowned garden designer Arne Maynard. The gardens are progressing well, with yew hedging, willow hurdles and mature trees used to shape private, secluded spaces that sit naturally within the wider site. The sense of space and greenery has been a hallmark of this development – and this phase is no exception.

“These homes build on everything we developed in the first phase,” said Nicholas Jacob. “There’s a clear continuity of style and materiality, but also a refinement of the ideas we introduced before. Each house has its own identity while sitting harmoniously within the site.”

With the final touches to landscaping underway, attention is beginning to turn towards the next phase of this evolving project.

This thoughtful, phased approach ensures that every part of St George’s feels settled, considered and rooted in place – offering future residents a rare blend of countryside charm and contemporary comfort in one of Norfolk’s most desirable locations.
